Can i run the ddr2-1066 on a p35 mb with the memory and fsb set to 266 for a 1:1 ratio

I do not overclock, i just want the fastest stock performance for my q6600

You won't see any difference between DDR2-800 , DDR2-1066 at all.
Neither when overclocked.

I believe I've set this one right here [ 2nd and 3rd paragraph ]

Thanks for the info,

As ram prices continue to fall at the high end (i have seen Mushkin 2GB DDR2-1066 for $169 CDN, wow

I may get some just to have the overhead available for a mild oc if i get the oc bug

I have the same ram... it is great... a big bonus is that you can do DDR2-800 at about 3-3-3-9...

mushkin support forums are amazing... they provide a tonne of info.

At that price you cannot go wrong so buy it!!

You don't need to overclock to run your ram at 1066, but yeah the difference is performance is very minimal. Running at 800mhz 3-3-3-9 sounds nice though.
