DDR1 vs DDR3

What's the difference between DDR1 and DDR3 for graphics cards? I heard that DDR3 is better at overclocking. If I don't plan on doing that, what will it do for me?

ddr3 is faster memory. it runs at higher clocks than ddr1. even if you dont overclock get a vid card with ddr3.
