DDR Ram prices still going up?

Even after the huge jump in sdram prices the ddr ram stayed the same. But now it's totally going up. Last week 49 dollars for 256meg ddr, but now it's 72 dollars. If you read the xbit article on ram, it does make sense. So why is the price still rising? Computer manufacturers just trying to make more money off us. I don't think any memory manufacturers will close down the factories now that the price is gone WAY up.

Glad I stocked up when it was $27 for 256 MB PC2100 at Crucial.
