I recently bought an HP Pavillion notebook with two sticks of 256 sd ram. I want to add more ram, but there doesn't appear to be any 512 sd ram available. (I was going to add one stick of 512 ram to the 256 ram for a total of 768 ram). the only 512 ram seems to be DDR. Can I ad the 512 DDR ram and run it with the 256 sd ram? I wanted more ram for video/graphic applications.thanks in advance

Just go to crucial.com and plug in your notebook's model # to ensure you get the right stuff. It's probably SDRAM in a SODIMM module that you need.

Aaahh, nutz seemz I've wasted your time, after removing the ram turning it over and using a magnifing glass I found out the ram WAS ddr,(eyez ain't what they used to be). Figured I'd buy 512 and bring her up to 768 for light photo,& video editing on the road. Wish I could afford a full gig, but after $500 in case modz for main unit,I'm a little short on fundz, besidez what would I do with the 2 stickz of 256zzz; {hint, hint}. I know what your thinking, $500 in modz, Runz
what were you thinking? I'm thinking I won't have to buy a christmas tree this year!
RUNZ; out

Got 3 gigs of power,a full bank of ram, it's dark and I'm wearing sunglasses,------- HIT IT!!!!
