DDR RAM 4T, 8T, 16T

What's the difference between different *T marking on RAM? I'm trying to get some RAm for a new mobo I got, and newegg has two 256mb Crucial DDR PC2100 sticks of RAM for the same price, the only difference at all that I can tell, is that one has a 4T tacked onto the end, the other has a 16T at the end. Does it matter? Does my mobo only support one, not the other, or something like that?

It appears to me that the T number simply denotes how many memory chips are soldered onto the circuit board. If you look at the photos, that does seem to bear out the theory. I don't know if there are any real-world benefits to choosing one over another unless your motherboard freaks out at high-density memory IC's or something. Fewer chips might result in lower power consumption, I suppose...
