DDR heatsink needed?

Is there any actual need for DDR heatsinks? With or without overclocking?

I'm looking at the ThermalTake product. It looks very large as well...is there room to actually install these on the chips and have things fit on MBs still?

I have the heatsinks, its not really that big, i just used the heat spreaders since the heatsinks don't really fit. I thought it was worth it, paid like 5 bucks for a little piece of mind. and i used the heatsinks on my videocard. so personally i think its totally worth it IMO. and besides, it looks really kewl.
