DDR boost for 3d cad?

I'm another one who was about to build me a new machine and now wonder if I should wait for Via DDR MB's for PIII's to come in. Does anyone have a sense of how relevant it would be, compared to the obvious benefits of more CPU speed and more memory, for high end opengl cad such as microstation and solidworks? I don't game at all, my marriage and career would suffer!

as far as i know, DDR is gonna give a big preformance boost. might wanna check out some benchmarks and see for yourself, but if i had the money id wait
