I was just about to finalize my system when I noticed DDR went up yet again!

DDR PC2100 512 MB from crucial.com = $190.79
DDR PC2100 256 MB from crucial.com = $96.29 (or $192.58 for 2)

RDRAM PC800 256 MB 16 device Samsung from googlegear.com = $78 (So, $156 for 512 MB since you add in pairs)
RDRAM PC800 128 MB 8 device Samsung from googlegear.com = $38 (So, $76 for 256 MB since you add in pairs)

Looks like I am going i850 and I think I will vomit if I hear another person say DDR is cheaper than RDRAM.

*yawn* Yeah, DDR is not cheaper than RDRAM anymore, has been posted on this board before.

But to be fair, Crucial is slightly more expensive than others (now).

From newegg.com:

KINGSTON KVR266X64C25/256 256MB 32x64 PC2100 DDR RAM ---- $72
KINGSTON KVR266X64C25/512 512MB DDR PC2100 RAM ---- $140 (no stock, though)

Kingston is totally reputable, as well.

Now, who is vomiting? :D
