Hmm, looks like the memory makers are coming out with faster memory sooner than later. I hope this bodes well for 250+ fsb utilizing 1:1 memory ratios. It should kick some serious a$$. 😀

I hope these sticks are good. While I do not have a 800fsb CPU yet, I will be getting one and I want to OC the hell out of it with 1:1 memory ratios. Until memory is good enough to do that in common market with 300+/- fsb. I'll hold off on buying a 800 P4.

The 800+ fsb speeds are pretty limited by memory speeds, but still faster than anything else available on the market now.

Will be watching this memory launch closely too.

I just got in the same OCZ PC3700 modules today. Will be using these moduels for a dual DDR500 review soon, which will include a memory frequency to FSB frequency benchmark comparison chart. 🙂

Is this going to be like the OCZ PC3500EL reviews where the review sticks do 500 DDR but when you buy it you only get 433 maybe stable and maybe not..LOL. 😕 .I had to RMA both dual channel PC3500 OCZ sticks cause one wouldn't do spec and the other was bad and errored on memtest86 at default specs.They did send me back better sticks that did 474 & 476 DDR PC3500EL.They are very good when RMAing.They even gave me a Ratzpad,Gladiator 2 heatsink and fan and some grease with the replacement sticks. 🙂 .I would still consider buying OCZ again when all said and done.If these sticks are good I'l give them a try.

I was able to run the full SPECviewperf 7.0 benchmark at Dual DDR495 with the Gigabyte 8PENXP, which means it was very stable.

Timings were a lovely CAS 3-3-3-8. :Q

those RAM timings are anything but sweet... DDR500 RAM would be very beneficial though if it could run at 2-2-2-5

Actually, RAM timings at that speed is almost insignificant... We're talking MINUTE!
For Intel systems anyway. For an AMD system, timings are critical.
