DDR 266 or DDR 400 with AMD 2400 on nforce2

I want to know whether an AMD 2400 XP with 266mhz fsb will perform better with DDR 266 or with DDR 400.In tech-arena.com/forums people told me that there would be no difference.
 
266 will perform better

there's a slight decrease in performance when running memory out of sync with the FSB.
