Saw this at Pricewatch. Anyone know about the company? I looked for them at reseller ratings but did not find anything. I probably looked them up wrong but anyway...

I figure maybe someone here could shed some light...

Go to pricewatch and search under 256mb pc2100 ddr. You should find pchardware4u listed at the top. At their website, it lists the regular price and I'm pretty sure you would have to call to get the pricewatch price. It says it is Micron/Samsung memory.

Many times you have to call to get their online price. Not sure if this is the case here but I guess we could call to find out.
 

Yeah, If you call you'll get the speal about "we can't sell it for that price but for $78,...."

Its a mistake off of their 128MB price
 
I couldn't find that price anywhere, but I did find ComputerHQ.com with Samsung PC2100 ram for $57 in stock. I opted to buy Crucial DDR ram instead for $67 shipped 2nd day air.
 
If they are the same as www.pch4u.com then they are a good company to deal with, at least in my eyes. I ordered a case from them once and they sent the wrong one, called them and they did not hesitate to do an pick-up and exchange. Have ordered a couple of other things from them and have had no problem. Their site, though, doesn't always seem to be the most accurate with inventory count. Link: pch4u.com
 
Check the date that the price quote was submitted. It's in small print under the brand of memory, I think I saw this earlier today and couldn't figure out why the price was so much different, then I saw that the price hadn't been updated since SEPTEMBER, 2001!
