its only $59.95+ shipping now from $65.95 i believe!
in my experince outpost ships via airborne which is really fast, even for ground!

it's generic for sure, but the brand of chips you'll get on it can vary. I believe some people have gotten hynix chips in the past.

I got two of them . They are both running at 150FSB or 300ddr. On a K7S5a Motherboard. Pretty nice for generic. Still not as nice as the crucial i bought when it was $29 a stick.

Good memory, Even though it says generic.

Wait... according to the previously posted deal this same ram was selling for $64.95? The price of a stick of memory actually DROPPED? Could this be a sign of things to come? 🙂

<< The price of a stick of memory actually DROPPED? Could this be a sign of things to come? >>

I sure hope so. Man it would be nice to have $69 sticks of 512 crucial ddr again. I ordered a stick around 11 o'clock firday night and it was shipped out by like 8 the next morning...we'll see how long it takes to get here

<< Yes I read somewhere that prices are actually dropping. >>

you would never guess that based on the weekly newletter from crucial... seems to go up every week.. 🙁

I sure wuld like a link to where you read prices may drop again. alot of people seem to think thye may go up even higher.

I cant argue that it is very expensive right now. costs more for a 512MB of PC2100 stick than it does for an AMD XP 1900+, for some of the brand names

I second that, let just stop buying for couple of weeks, that should make a reasonable diffrience..

Somebody capable is employed by Outpost.com: I ordered this in the middle of the night Friday-Saturday and their delivery company was knocking on my door (in Kansas!) this morning (Monday) 9am.
Rock AND Roll.
