I have some 1 year old 256 mb Corsair DDR 2100 Cas 2 RAM.

Would it be ok to set this RAM up to run at 333mhz (pc2700) in an Nforce2 mobo?

I am just wondering if this is feasible or if its too much to ask of my memory module.

The memory module has no heat spreader.

Thanks, all

Have you tried it?
its all you can do... people can talk, and say yes, and say no, but all you can do is try.
no 2 memory modules are 100% alike. :D
i'd say the chances are pretty high it'll run at 333, esp. if you are not going to run CAS2 latencies.
up the voltage on the DIMM alot if you wanna try CAS2 at 333 from a 266 DIMM.. that's pushing it. but 333 CAS2.5 or 3 should work.
