DDR 2100 & 2700 Question

Got a question,

I am running a 512 stick of 2100 DDR. If I added a stick of 2700 DDR, it will slow to the speed of the 2100 right? Or will it not run at all?

Trying to invest for the future.

its going to run at whatever you have your memory set to run at now...so if your running pc2100 speed, it will run at pc2100 speed.....
