DDNS options

Trying to debate what is the best option to go with in terms of a DDNS provider.

Is it better to go with the software you install and run continuously on your machine such as no-ip.com or is it better to go with something on your router like TZO.com?

I tried TZO.com and it was very simple and works great, but now it is time to pay up. Worth it?

If you go the router method, most people leave their router on anyway and its low power, pc route you have to leave a power hungry device on 24/7 to get the benefit. I prefer the router method myself.

I have used dynamic dns for years and always run it on my router. It keeps things simple, and the updates happen automagically..
