Dd-wrt

I am not a tech, nor a computer engineer, but I can get around a computer, and I do know if I flashed my lynksis WRT54G, or not. And, I did not, yet DD-wrt is on the lynksis web page. I have absolutely no idea how it got there. I repeat, I never flashed the router. Damn, it is the first time I accessed the page in probably years. The last time I flashed the router was 4 or so years ago to v.4. Anyone have any thoughts on this? And no, I don't smoke crack.

unsecured wireless? Maybe one of your neighbors was leeching wireless, and wanted more functionality?

Btw, how would you have gotten in, with a username/password, if you weren't the one that flashed DD-WRT? It forces you to set a username/password when you first set it up.

Edit: Do you sleepwalk?

Are you connected to the correct AP (dd-wrt allows you to view a status page without having to actually log in)?

Did DD-WRT come preloaded when you purchased your router and you just forgot?

Do you smoke crack?

Can you log in? DD-WRT does show a status page without the need to login a.k.a. linksys which immediately presents a login popup.

Either, someone has hijacked and upgraded your router, or you are connecting to someone else's router, which is doubtful, as if someone is going to install dd-wrt, they are also savvy enough to secure it.

dd-wrt comes factory on the buffalo wzr models. i am not sure of any other router that comes with dd-wrt professional from factory.
