DD-CPX-Pro 12V Pump

dawp

Lifer
I just ordered one of these, tho not danger den branded, and was wonder about the quality. I picked it up from the cracypc.com going out of business sale for half the listed price of $45.

here's link to the one I'm getting:
http://www.crazypc.com/products/dp1200-93328.html

At that price i figure i can use it now and get a mcp35x later if it doesn't work out.

also I have a question. I have an xfx hd4870 x2 and was wondering if it it's better to hook up the gpus in series or parallel since i have 2 to cool?

I should be getting the jingway dp1200 sometime today, I'll let y'all know how it does. hopefully it comes before I go to bed so I can leak test it and then install it tomorrow.

I think I'm going to miss my mcp600 tho, that thing worked well. just wish I knew which pan world model it was.

wahahahahaha... the good ol cpx pro!

Well not much can be said about this pump.

It was brought as an experiment which didnt find much popularity.

There quite big tho and have 0 options.
But if u really have questions on it, ask Gillbot.

His brother used one for a while.

I just googled for "cpx pro vs mcp 35x" and this was the top result. Funny thing is, I'm using gillbot's brother's old cpx pro. Small fucking world.

I guess I can pose my question here then, I'm trying to shoot for silence, and the only thing I can hear right now is that incredibly loud cpx pro. It's decoupled by having the tubing take some weight off of it, as well as weather stripping foam on the bottom, and it still hums very very loud. how much quieter would a 35x be, do you guys think?
