This is from one of Dell's Waranty Parts Direct enrollment reps.

Question: What is the difference between the DCSE program and the WPD program?

Rep's response:

The Warranty Parts Direct program allows you to order warranty parts for the business you work for; where the DCSE program does not. If you enroll in the WPD program we can transfer your DCSE certifications over to WPD.

Question: What does the DCSE program allow me to do?

Rep's response.

Normally the DCSE website is where Dell's 6 Global partners test to show they are qualified to work on our systems.
Any other individuals testing there would be to update their resume or that type of thing.
It will not allow you to request parts without troubleshooting over the phone with our technicians.

It's a good thing I didn't have to pay for my DCSE tests.
