I bought it a long time ago when it was download only.. found that even on easy the flight model felt very odd it doesnt seem to want to behave like a sim heli should.

and Ive actually flown the real SH-60 Seahawk sim when I was in the Navy.. this one just feels "funny"

Maybe I just need a new joystick.. I did try it with 2 that I have and both felt strange.

I have it, but it's currently shelved as only the first campaign works with Vista.

It's tough, I almost gave up early on, even though I'm a vet flight simmer. You need a good joystick/HOTAS or else don't bother with this game.

Once you "get it" though, this game is very rewarding.

Just got it last night.
Having played for at least couple hours so far.
Mostly great except its scenery is a bit off.
It looks like the scenery from the "Lock on" game database to me.
The 3d model cockpit is by far the best in flight sim to date, imo.

I have had it for 2 days and am struggling. I found a "For Dummies" walk-through that really helps if anyone is interested I can provide the link. But here is my issue...
I use the Saitek X52 controlers and I cannot for the life of me get the game to recognize the left handed throtle as the collective in the game. yes, I have tried changing it in the controls set up but it keeps making me use the slider in the handle for the collective. Any ideas?

Go to Saitek site and d/l the appropriate drive for your OS and pray that it will work.
I rid of this Saitek like yours when I had problem like this a year ago.
I currently use the St290 Pro w/o a lot trouble except once in a while I need to recalibrate to get the j/s center centered.
On the game note, this is by far the best chopper sim I've ever played.
Lot of fun yet.
