Got from the other borad. Went to Staples this morning and the deal is still good. (offer ends today 2/10)
Not sure this has been posted or not
Staples' ads has free 600x1200 USB scanner (instant rebate) if you buy any digital camera over $139. Get DC3200 for 199.99 and add something worth 1 cent makes it over $200, get 50 rebate from Staples on DC3200. Use 40 off 200 code. PM with Bestbuy on DC3200 (149.97).

200-40(40 off 200)-50(rebate)-50(PM with bestbuy)=60+tax and scanner

Final price: $60 +tax for 600x1200 USB scanner and DC3200 is a good deal.

Link on bestbuy DC3200 for 149.97

Not sure that this will work or not?

Let me see...

Ok, let's say you call Staples and order the camera for $199 and add some rubber bands to get the cost over $200. OK.

Then apply $40 off $200 coupon and you are at $160.00.

Then call back Staples later in the day and get the Pice Match...So they deduct another $50 from the order. Now we are at $110.

Then MIR for $50...yep $60.

(I think the key to this deal is not to do the PM during the initial order...) Too bad, I already have a digicamera and just did the Staples Visioneer scanner which I got for next to nothing..last week!

OR YOU CAN DO THIS...

PM the camera at $149.00 and add rubber bands...to get over $150.00

Then apply the $30 off of $150 making your deal $120.

Then MIR for $50.

Making the deal $70 for the camera and the scanner.

Yes, it is a B&M deal, clearly stated on the staples' flyer.

For those guys who got this deal, what scanner did you guys get?
I got a Visioneer 6100 USB (78-78) instant rebate. Apparently it was not the SKU 449699 (microtek x6) scanner as advertised.

How did you get them to pricematch to Best Buy? The csr I spoke to quoted me the 179.99 price that is on the Best Buy website. Is there a store telephone number we can give them to check? Thanks.

it wot happen for the combo of both the scanner and the camera unless you go B&M. CSR stated that this offer is only avail in the store. If you look at the link above for the scanned ad it stated it on there. Now that sucks but it is still a good deal for just the camera...$70. Not bad

Okay. I tried the deal. It worked like a charm... almost.

Okay, the pricematch worked so I got 149 and the free scanner I got the USB visioneer 42bit scanner with MIR for free. However, the Brick and Mortar store did not accept my coupon code. They said they need proof that the code actually worked at brick and mortar stores. So they want me to print out the code with the staples letterhead and stating the discount.

All I need to bring that to them and they will give me the discount with in the next 14 days. I need help. Anyone has it?:Q

The proof should be that if they enter it into their register their system applies a $40 discount, no?

I have a screwed up experience.

Camera : 199.99
free scanner, they went out of the cheap one so they gave me the Visoneer 6100USB.
10 Floppy Disks : 5.49
Staples Coupon 40 off 200
Staples Free scanner

Came out to be like $177.

I then went back to do a price adjustment with best buy's $149, but I only got $10 back because they said with the 40 off coupon it will come out to be the same. What the hacks up with that !!!!

But I am not going to give up. Went to another Staples this morning, and try the Best Buy PM again to get my other $40 back.

They end up screwing up and gave me $50+tax back !!!! They forgot I already got $10 back already :)

Final cost $62(including tax) for the camera, 10 Floopy and a Visioneer 6100USB.

Now thats a sweet deal :p
