DC projects with queues

I'm gonna need some projects that can run from one pc like a server with clients when Seti ends. I know Seti, SB and FAD can, what else? Something like SetiQueue that can be set to connect only at certain times would work best.

Any ideas? 😀

I know you already mentioned FaD... but did you know FaD can? 🙂 And its great at doing it too!

Other than that, I am not sure. But CPDN has such long work units, you dont really need a queue.

Although I wouldn't personally recommend them there's always D²OL/TSC.
Both can have up to 2000 candidates in their queue.

Why do you ask? If it's because of a firewall, you could run something like ip_relay.exe for almost any project, and schedule it to turn on and off at particular times (e.g. with Task Scheduler).

SBQueue has command-line options that let you fetch and flush, and you could schedule them for particular times (e.g. with Task Scheduler again), but it doesn't set upper or lower bounds on queue size per user. That's one thing I'd like to do, but I doubt I'll ever get around to it.

The reason I ask is because the pcs are at work and it's so much easier if they all send and recieve after work when no is working and no one can blame the projects for slowing down the lines. At the remote branches this will be a must.
