I hope this is not a repost, but my interest was sparked with the fact that I will have a spare HTC Sensation overclocked to 1.9ghz when I get my new Nexus 4.

I just started doing Milkyway@Home on a phone!!

http://nativeboinc.org/site/uncat/start

The installation is easy, and it connects to projects(work units) from a variety of DC projects.

My phone does Milkyway@Home wu in about 9-10 hours, where as my video card does it in 1 or so minute! That shows some power comparison between ARM processors and video cards!

Make sure that the device does not too hot! :)

What about power consumption? Phones can operate/work 3-4 days from a single full charge,

I would imagine this would kill the battery.

Actually it doesn't. I have a Xperia X10i and the battery lasts 14 hours without BOINC running after down to 12 hours, be careful of the heat though

My phone runs out of battery in less than 1 hour, with 14 hour regular battery life. It is that demanding, especially overclocked!

sounds like unless you have a charger readily available; or the phone on the charger; it is not very practical.

I run it overnight because it is plugged into the charger anyways.

There has got to be more interest in this software that this... Come on, people, any more takers?
