whoops. Not really Larry Flynt's doing but
these Republicans can't seem to keep it in their pants. There were already rumors of Larry Craig (R-ID) previously when he famously denied doing anything with male pages back in the 80s.

My guess is, he will resign rather then face reelection since this is Idaho.

Sen. Larry Craig (R-Idaho) was arrested in June at a Minnesota airport by a plainclothes police officer investigating lewd conduct complaints in a men's public restroom, according to an arrest report obtained by Roll Call Monday afternoon.
Craig's arrest occurred just after noon on June 11 at Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport. On Aug. 8, he pleaded guilty to misdemeanor disorderly conduct in the Hennepin County District Court. He paid more than $500 in fines and fees, and a 10-day jail sentence was stayed. He also was given one year of probation with the court that began on Aug. 8.

How the heck did this not make the news for more than 2 months?
Must have been the liberal media covering it up.

Three other facts somewhat explain it all given that gay and lesbian, as also being America's sons and daughters, implies that they too are also a cross section of America. (1) Some are smart, some are dumb, some are Republicans and some are democrats. Taken together we are talking around 2-4% of the population, which, if you accept those figures means the group in the USA alone is some where around 6-12 million people. And given there is no correlation between intelligence and homosexuality means one is going to be dealing with a substantial subset of very smart people who happen to be homosexual (2) Given the taboos in America, homosexuality is regarded as a sin. Which gives the subset of homosexuals a powerful incentive to remain in the closet. The subset of these homosexuals who are more intelligent than the average bear get very good at deception. (3) We should not be surprized that a disproportionate sub set of intelligent gays and Lesbians find the the life skills they have learned more suits the GOP vs. the democratic agenda. And for every Mark Foley front man, there are many more republican gay and Lesbian support people using their their learned abilities at concealment of hidden agendas. The skill set just happens to better fit the GOP agenda at present.

At some future date, the shoe may reverse to the other foot. But for now, its the Republicans who are doing most of the homosexual equal opportunity hiring.
