<< The problem is that the Washington metro area has 4.5 million people living in it and no matter what the issue protestors seem to feel that they have every right to disrupt our lives. Believe it or not the vast majority of us are no different than folks living in the rest of the country. We work, have families, and gripe about politics just like people elsewhere. You live here long enough and you end up loathing all protestors no matter what their cause is especially the ones that seem to think that damaging other peoples property or blocking major roads is the correct way to get their particular little message across. >>

Thats what Metro is for :D

BTW, how many protests do you usually have there in Manassas? ;)

I was tempted to say about as many as you have in Arlington but since the Pentagon is there you actually do have a few. I know that you know that the majority of people that live out here work either in DC or somewhere closer in and we are affected by this crap everytime it screws up traffic. I won't even bother commenting on the Metro comment since I doubt we agree on how useful it is.

Just as they have the right to protest, Kilgor has the right to protest their protesting.

<< I'll never understand why these freaky ass people stay here if the think it's so dam bad. I've been watching them on T.V this morning they make me sick to my stomach. >>

Seems I heard exactly the same thing back in the late '60's and early '70's about the kids protesting the Vietnam War.
