If anybody was going to buy the other, it'd be DC buying Marvel. DC is a subsidiary of Warner Brothers/Time Warner, Marvel is still independent. Marvel would never get the capital to buy DC off Warner, but somebody at DC could call Ted Turner and ask for a loan.

Despite Marvel copying a lot of DC's characters, I prefer the Marvel superheroes. I got the entire set of the Official Marvel Universe Handbook off ebay

the new logo looks a lot like that electric superman they had a few years ago(or maybe they still have it, i dunno).

I feel like it wasn't ever very popular, i dont know why they would think the design would go well with their logo.
