You know once you start downloading at FP, you can find the FTP location of the file and just download straight from it? Yeah, it's a wonder it's not done more often.

If you go to the top server for the west coast under subscribers it will let you dowload instantaneously as they are testing them out, I am currently getting 100-133kbps...

No doubt.
Where has this guy been.
DC had thousands of players even when it was still alpha.
It really is silly to call it a beta though. It's just as complete and stable as the actual BF1942 game.

EDIT: Isn't this basically a compatibility fix to make DC work properly with BF 1.6 ?

It's more than that, but it is a stability/compatibility/bug fix/map change patch. No new maps or vechicles. Here is a full list:

Ahhh...gotta love networking. Had one guy download it at 300k, then we transfered it to 10 different people at 10000k. We saved some bandwidth for you guys :)

You folks think this is Bad, Wait till the Unreal Tournament 2004 Demo is released next Friday or Saturday!!! Man, the wait will be 100X as long I think.........
