Is there way to power dc 2 dc converter from PSU 12V rail.
I want to use 6 microATX motherboards on 6 12V rails.

One motherboard has Q9550 (95W), ddr2 4x2Gb, 7200rpm HD 3.5", DVDRW drive.

Thanks

You mean like this? It should work just fine. One possible DC-DC PSU is the Pico PSU. If you may be running the CPU at full load, then I would suggest the 150W model. It is native 24 pin while pretty much all other DC-DC PSUs are 20 pin.

Yes
On that image
the DC in 5/2.5mm (12V) i have to plug in on PSU's 12V rail, but how?

I'm considering bitween PSU's
Left black 6x are 12V where i have to plug in (ENERMAX GALAXY EVO 1250W)
Tagan BZ 1300W

Thanks for help :)

For the input you just have to wire it it somehow. You can just cut/solder wires or if you don't want it permanent then you can buy the plugs such as this 75 ¢ thingy and solder them to some spare Molex adapters of some kind, such as a spare SATA power connector or something. This way is not permanent for any of the power supplies.

Forget it. I will go for multible psu's
Cheaper, safer, more power

Also takes more room in a case (if you're putting them all in one box).

Maybe psu orig main power connector has more safety fetures.
Anyway i found 5.25" drive bay PSU 270W for mini ITX (Thermaltake). No much info about this PSU. MicroATX motherboard (53W) + CPU 65-95W + 8-16GB ddr2 (...W) === might work.
