Dban i586 Issue

If I burn the latest Dban(2.26) to a CD, I get Error loading files.

This is on a New Envy 14, also same thing happens to my laptop Toshiba A300

If I try the latest i386 version (1.0.7), it boots up fine but it cant read larger drives so it gives a Error about boot sectors when trying to run.


Anyone knowing whats going on?

Not sure what your error message was, but I was just trying to run spinrite (low level sector scanner) and it wouldnt work on our newer system because the SATA controller was set to AHCI instead of ATA. Switching that made it work just fine. I assume its something similar for your setup.
