Dazzle Video products, transferring Hi8 movies to DVD?

Are the Dazzle products and good? I have a Hi8 video camera and instead of shelling out $300+ for a miniDV camera I was thinking of continuing to use our current camera and transfer it to DVD. What things should I be looking for in the product to get quality picture on DVD?

I already have the DVD burner.
 
Sounds like you looking for an analogue-digital bridge. You should have a look at the Canopus products. This will take you to an overview of their products. There are links on the site to reviews of the products as well.

Now, I haven't used their stuff, but I am planning on picking up the ADVC-100 in the new year. I have some VHS and S-VHS tape that I want to transfer to DVD.
