Dazed and Confuzed pt2

I am planning on getting an Opteron 165 or 170 (maybe 180) but after googling and such. I cant seem to find the types of motherboards I am looking for. I want the best and most feature rich NF4 SLI board there is. Everything I see is tor the X2, or have I not realized that you can use an X2 board for the Opteron? If this is possibel then I am guessing that a DFI, ASUS or MSI would be my best option?

I plan on playing games, video editing, photo editing ext... So I believe the Opterons are my best bet, and I want the best board I can get to go with it. I am not opposed to spending 300 bucks on one either.

Thanks in advance for all your advice.

Lots of mobos can run dual core opterons w/a revised bios. I suggest going for an A8N32-SLi if you want the absolute top of the line mobo. The DFI SLI-DR mobo is also quite good. I'm not too sure of the expert but that would also be a good sli choice and a great overclocker.

Thanks I will check that one out. So am I correct in assuming that if it is a 939 board it will take the Opteron? Or is it even safer to look at boards for the x2?

Thanks again.
