I'm tired of running around solo, and only running into 1 out of 10 players in game who are friendly. This thread is a database for people playing the DayZ standalone and want to meet up in game to work together.

Any suggestions on how to make this easier for us to get in touch other then befriending each other on steam, please share

Did they get away from the awful Arma control/menus? If so, I'd be interested in trying it out again, if not..then no way.

Not sure, all I have ever played is the standalone. Its still coming along, this recent update they did a couple weeks ago added a lot of stuff like trucks. Still has bugs and problems, but I'm pulled back in currently and enjoying it.

Moved on to what if I may ask? Im always looking into games like this, but most times they are a let down... well come to think of it, they are always a let down but then again they are always an alpha or a work in progress.
 
I am an avid player still. I am part of the official dayz forum. There is a trading community there of friendly vetted players.

The game is still so very broken. Don't bother even installing this. I reinstall this game about once every two months to try and every time I install it the same junk is broken and new junk is introduced ... broken. It's incredible how much of this game is broken. How did this game even win game of the year? How are they still making money with people continuing to buy it? How do new buyers not know how utterly broken this game is?

Arma 3 Epoch. It's superior to DayZ in every way and it's NOT broken as balls like the standalone is.
