Daytona Beach, Flordia, anyone been there, live there?

My friends and I are going on Breakaway Tours type trip down to Daytona Beach, Flordia at the end of February.

I was wondering what peeps think of it?

Do we have to worry about hurricanes and shiat? We are in Canada, eh. (btw).

We are all 20 years old, are they pretty tight with the drinking age? If so, what kind of
I.D. would you recommend?

daytona is pretty cool. depends on the club for the drinking age, although a canadian id is not one that they would know very well, so u should be able to get away w/ it that way.
you don't need to worry about hurricanes, it won't be hurricane season then, and even if it was, you'd have plenty of warning. just pack some bathing suits and go to have fun and see lots of scantily clad women!

Miami is a much better choice then. More and better clubs. The cops are the same everywhere if you act like a drunken ass. Topless beach Poontang? Isn't that the new flavor that was released the same time as Wu flavor?

I agree with Yakko. I work the miami club scene and I can say for sure it is far better. World-class. Compare that to some lousy seaside bars and drunk college kids. It's much more exotic and sophistacted in Miami Beach. We have some of the world's most beautiful women here, as well as interesting people. The world's top DJs stop here regularly.

Warning though...bring good clothes. Any club worth going to has a dresscode down here.

since you are in Canada... there are some very cheap packages trips to Cuba..

Daytona in February???? I guess if you are coming from Canada, eh, it won't be so cold. But no nude beaches. Better head to Miami, south beach if you want to party. Haulover beach in Miami is a nude beach just north of SoBe, if you are so inclined.

Daytona is a haven for rednecks with pickup trucks and shotguns. Oh, and if you're skin color is anything other than lilly white, you are in for trouble in Daytona. Just my 2 cents.

lived there for 18 years....got away for school...kinda a boreing place. spring break died with mtv. it's just now starting to kick back up but very slowly. they are very tight with the drinking age but if you get into clubs just don't ask too stupid.....
