I used to hate nascar (mostly becuase I live close to RIR, and I can hear the cars from inside my house, plus those damn planes that fly over at the start shake the ****** out of it), but once you go to an actual race its kind of cool.

That guy that flipped over near the end is kind of lucky it flipped back around on the grass, if it would have stayed upside down while it was on fire it could have been bad.

Hell yeah; there was near gridlock at 8AM yesterday.

And it took me 2 hours after the race to get to I95; I was only parked 2 miles from it.

Decent pics. I was hoping to get to Talladega for the spring race but it doesn't look like that's happening b/c my brother will be home for leave sometime in April (no telling when in April b/c the Army's timetable seems to change all the time).
