Daytona 500, Did you going to watch it?

Jimmy Johnson won, eh. 🙁 I was rooting for Mark Martin,
he finished 12th.

I was hoping for a better day for the Petty's too.

Bon Jovi is singing now, just before the start of the race. 2:10 pm eastern.

NBC free TV. 😉

I am going to watch the Daytona 500 race, how about you?

If it worked I have a Poll.

I think it used to be a bit better, when the cars looked like
cars you could buy at the local dealerships.

The racing is still pretty good, but the cars all look
too much alike. Waah.😕

Well that has a lot to do with the Car Manufactuers making all their cars look generic. Something they got from the Japanese.

Yet they don't allow Japanese cars on track. The thing about the Daytona 500 that I love are looking at the crazy looking people watching it

Yeah fat Beer Guted Dudes with hot looking Babes. Just goes to prove that it's better to be a Redneck into NASCAR than Geeks into LAN Parties

And try to avoid cars spinning out in front of you at 190 mph. Yesterdays race was nuts with all the tires blowing out. The last lap of that was insane with cars going into turns 3 wide and then a major wreck which took out about 7 cars with about a 100 yards left.

NACAR has the inensity that I find lacking in all over types of Car Racing. Maybe live they are better but for TV NASCAR rules!

Are there any handicapped racers in NASCAR? THAT would be something to see, kinda like wheelchair-basketball or something. They can mount the throttle controls on the wheel for leg amputees, don't know how they'd work the chair lift though.

Until next year (2007) when Toyota enters the NASCAR field......

Q: Why does NASCAR hold it's biggest event at the beginning of the season?

A: Because none of the drivers have died yet.

The dude that makes the most left turns the fastest without dying will win.

What the hell? What kind of joy will that bring you?

The last person to die in a NASCAR Bush/Cup race was 5 years ago yesterday.....

None in Nascar but there used to be a guy in Off Road truck Racing that was, can't remember his name.

No drivers but 2 crew chiefs......one in Bush series and one in Nextel Cup series. Both are in wheelchairs.
