Daylight

Tomorrow is the shortest day of the year.

When I go to work at 9am it will be dark. When I open the doors at 10am it will be predawn-ish. By 3:30 in the afternoon it will be dark again. Sunrise to sunset is even shorter. As I write this it is 2:39 in the afternoon... the sun just set.

One of my friends that lived in Alaska once told me stories of the summer and winter daylight/nighttime stuff. Sounded wild.

It is pretty bad where I'm at too ... sun comes up at approximately 9:30 these days, and is gone by 3:45. Oh well, the long days of summer make up for it.
