Daylight savings time on linux

We have several linux boxes we have gotten within the last year that have Redhat enterprise linux 2 on them. (I am not literate with linux, but suffice it to say its an older version.) I need to make sure these servers are using the new daylight savings time dates.

How would I go about checking this on a linux redhat server?

And the really painful question, does anyone know how to do this for AIX 5.3?

Zdump works, but the location is different, and I have no clue where to look for it.

Of course, now that I think about it, I am going to dig through the man page and see if I can find something.
