will Day of Defeat have a single player campaign or is it just simply a multiplayer game. Some of the vids ive watched make it look almost exactly like CS:S

whats the appeal?

i want the single player, but if there isn't any I guess I won't be spending much time playing it . . .

well its nothing like cs:s other then its the same engine and its also a team based fps.. but thats about it

Go to their damn website, pictures and descriptions from teh design team will be better then my recollection of 5 minutes of play time.

u capture the flags. you'll see, the gameplay is totally different from CS:S. guns recoil like insane, and if you're glodly w/ the rifle, then, ya, you're unstoppable. Also, you don't wait 'till everyone dies. You just keep spawning after a set amt of time. Kind of like BF2-style.

right now, the servers are VERY laggy since everyone's dl'ing it lol.
 
I just bought the game today.
I like the shyt out of it.
Kill, kill, kill, respawn, get shot in the face, respawn, go hunt down the jackoff that shot me in the face, it's awesome.
Guys camp a lot and you can sneak up, put the barell right against their head, and SPLAT.
Awesome. 🙂
