Just installed DoD 2.0 and it runs like a pig!
Got a (don't laugh) Celeroy 400, 192MB Ram, 8 Gig HDD, TNT2 M64 32mb.
CS 1.3 and DoD 1.3 ran ok, DoD 1.3 was a smidget jerky, but still was playable.
Running Direct 3D, 640 x 480. Win 2K.
Halflife itself runs fine on 800x600 (and pretty sure 1024x768 ran fine too, haven't played that for ages) it's just the add-on's that run not super well....
Even on P3 600 with 256mb ram, same vid card, DoD 2.0 runs a little bit jerky, specially with bots on....
Anyone got any tips to speed this up? It should run ok, should it?
D/Ling the latest drivers for vid card now...any other tips?
If I picked up a Geforce2 Ti, would that help considerably on the Celery, or will I notice not much difference, till i upgrade the m/b and cpu?
