I just love the misty, mysterious feel to it.
The old, almost biblical looking boat fit right in.
I didnt work on this yet, and I didnt crop it that great, but I wanted to share.

Jerusalem is totally not scary.
I used to live here in Jerusalem and I come back at least once a year.
You quickly get used to the security measures and it's like life anywhere else.
Only it's more special because it's Jerusalem. :)

There's nothing to fear. I highly recommend visiting.
Don't believe everything you see in the news... ;)

It's not that scary. The chances of actually being involved in any terrorist activity is so low. Plus, between the military and the police, they manage to foil a lot of plots. The wall also has helped reduce suicide bombings significantly.

Plus, the city is a lot of fun to explore.

I have been on that boat! I forgot the name of the organization that owns it but it has to do with the conservation of the Kinneret (Sea of Galilee). We didn't go out "sailing" because it was stormy. What a beautiful place! (I may have more pics of it at home).

Small world!
There's more than one of these boats.
Two of them were docked in front of my hotel (Sheraton Moriah).
I actually took this pic from my room balcony.

Ok then it probably wasnt that exact boat but I believe I have seen the Sheraton you are staying at. I stayed at Gai Beach (in T'veria) which was pretty nice. The place where I went on the boat was somewhere on the East coast of the Kinneret.

Gai Beach is nice, I've stayed there before.
The Sheraton is more in the city of Tverya, Gai beach is on the outskirts.
