Dems who didn't vote=agreed with the motion. They didn't want to piss Davis off but they knew Davis was in the wrong.

He's more austrian than american. But the non-vote by the dems doesn't mean anything because they want him ousted also.

Voting on things like this is a complete waste. Its an example of how davis isn't the only one wasting taxpayers dollars.

Do you have any clue what happens in the CA state Senate? They need to construct a reasonable budget for the state of CA so Davis . . . the best choice amongst mediocre options . . . can sign it. Now that Ueberroth is gone . . . the GOP hopes for real leadership in CA is over.
