David Palmer, in the event of a major terrorist attack, would lay out plans to invade the offending country and end his rousing speech with "That's Allstate's stand."

In all seriousness i'm pretty sure that actor can run for some kind of office. His role in 24 as well as those insurance commercials has already generated a well recognized face that is associated with responsibility and level-headedness.

I was about to vote for David Palmer because I thought it said Robert Palmer. Robert Palmer's dead though, and English.

If Obama could get an endorsement from Keefer Sutherland, he'd be unstoppable! I'd be afraid not to vote for him then... nobody crosses Jack Bauer and lives :)

None, not a single candidate represents what I want in office. I'm still not registered to vote, but if Hilary wins then I'll be forced to register just to vote against her.

People like you are the reason why every single Democrat supporting Hilary is a moron. Hell, the more she campaigns, the more I agree with the Hilary hate.

As bad as she is, I consider Obama's stand on the 2nd much worse. I registered democrat *shudders* just to vote against him in the california primaries.

i hate oprah much more than anything else.

obama being to the left of even clinton...has plenty of hate on tap. don't kid yourself. conservatives hate clinton. they will definetly hate obama worse. only obama lovey dovey blindness can lead people to think he isn't going to face a conservative sh*t storm. public hate is on clinton at the moment, its the more politically correct for now.

I hate Hillary personally. I mean who doesn't? But I'll vote for her simply because every Republican candidate seems hell-bent on ushering in the apocalypse.

Actually, the more I think about her, the more I hate her. This election is like a bad movie that won't end. I mean who has an attention span this long? It seems like they've been campaigning since time began. Someone fast-forward to 2009 so I don't have to sit through this.

What's this thread about again?

You're a highly motivated single issue voter who was going to vote for a republican candidate, anyway. TallBill is a conservative leaning, apathetic voter who was probably not going to vote. Thus, you are completely different voters. The key to Democrats winning is Bush's incompetence keeping conservatives home, & Hilary will energize the GOP base, screwing up our chance to get the republicans out.
