David Ortiz Walkoff

If anyone just saw the Red Sox game, David Ortiz just hit a walkoff home run, and my roomate said before it "I think the Angels should walk Ortiz because he's such a chutch hitter," and I argued that having a base runner would give the Sox a better chance than that of Ortiz hitting a home run. I still think I was right, what do you think?
