Dave Barry on Microsoft..

OK, so it's not purely networking, but there's a lot of Unix-vs-Windows discussions here and I thought most would appreciate this quote from Dave Barry's column this week.

"...now Microsoft has a new version out, Windows XP, which according to everybody is the ``most reliable Windows ever.'' To me, this is like saying that asparagus is ``the most articulate vegetable ever.''

Link to the article?

Love Barry but nolonger get the paper. Just read my news on the net.

Thids hould go in OFF TOPIC BTW

I hate inarticulate vegetables...besides, everyone knows that the cauliflower is the brains of the vegitable world....

Actually, I liked the part about the computer crashing and losing a whole morning's work..."sometimes as many as 18 words"...now THAT I can relate to. I'm trying to write a new Lab manual and training guide....sit & stare, type a little, sit & stare...type a little...etc.

Thanks for the link, it was a nice break.

Best of the New year to y'all.

Scott

Dave Barry's just great...his articles are always humerous and well-written.
