I was a devoted gamer for much of my childhood. When I wasn't bmx'ing or skating I was playing D&D with my friends. We didn't play in a basement though, we had a garage. And we had girls (!!!) play with us, fun days.

RIP Dave.
 
From what I have been reading from people who knew him he was a very nice human being.

IMO, he never received the credit that was due him concerning the creation of D&D.
