I was expecting an adult playland with arcade games with only adults, no kids, no strollers, just adults playing games together while having drinks.

I go there. I see kids, strollers, soccer moms. I thought this place was at least 18 and up. So much for an adult Chuck E Cheese. Thats my rant for the day.

I went there around 10pm. Instead of playing games, I went to the bar.

EDIT: WAIT!: they let kids in before 10?

The way I understood it here was that anyone under 21 had to be escorted. I have seen people ask kids "were are your parents?" before also. After 9 or 10 I don't think they allow anyone under a certain age at all.

EDIT: From webpage.

Guests under the age of 21 (legal drinking age) must be accompanied by a parent or guardian (a person 25 years of age or older who agrees to be responsible for the conduct and safety of the underage guests). Our N. Bethesda and Philadelphia locations enforce a year-round 11 p.m. curfew for guests under the age of 21.
