daughters S6 stopped calling and recieving calls. error "announcement switch 506-1"

as the title said. My daughters Samsung galaxy S6 stopped recievening and making calls. She used it last night but this morning we get a error.

"announcement switch 506-1"


all the other phones on the line work. Any ideas on WTF this is? the verizon store does not open till 10. so figured i would ask here before i go.

Seems like SIM provider side problem. Contact them.

My buddy on Verizon had all sorts of issues on his S5 when they tried to enable some fancy LTE features like HD voice and video over network calling (or something like that). He wasn't able to disable it himself for some reason, so he went to the store and they got him rolling again. They were having issues with these features so they just disabled them for now until there's a fix, but it's a known problem.

Don't know if it's related, but it might be something similar.

Data crapped out yesterday for a few minutes for me. Was...odd. Then it came back.

Probably monkeying with things in the backend. Did she rebooty it?
