3) What goofy things have u seen guys do to get your attention or b/c you got there attention?

1) Do you use a pick up line to approach a girl? An excuse (help her w/ something, etc)? Or come up and introduce yourself?

2) Under what situations would you ask a girl - if she's too hot, would you do it? In other words, what are your basis for asking?

3) What stupid things have u done to get girls' attention or b/c they got your attention??

I've been guilty of giving out fake numbers before. Even though I feel bad about it (really, I do!!), I wouldn't want to hurt the guy's feelings by saying no (especially in front of other people). The way I see it, I'm doing the lesser of two evils by saving him face. What would you guys prefer? Being told straight out &quot;no,&quot; or finding out later the girl gave you a wrong number?

Being told straight that you're not interested... or at least lie and say you ahve a boyfriend. Just do it easy, don't laugh and point.

Giving out a fake number is just going to give false hope... and it'll be an even bigger downer to find out it's fake. Not only that, but the guy will think you're worst for lying. Doesn't help in the friends department too, because they'll eventually ask if he'd call her... or worst, they'll be around for the first call.

I agree... guys will think you're a b*tch for giving a fake number, even if you honestly had good intentions. It sucks getting excited about someone actually saying yes, only to have it be yet another big dissapointment.

Hmmm, thanks guys... you all have really good points, which I'll keep in mind if it ever happens again.

I was also thinking about taking this route - why not just give them my e-mail address instead of my phone number? That way, I'll preserve my privacy and be able to check out what they really have to say. If I end up liking it, we might continue correspondance... if I don't, I could politely write back and let him know (gently) I'm not interested. What do you think?

Well Since I am kinda a clown anyway nothing I have done seems that stupid. The Best thing I Have found up is just to start flirting &amp; Keep massive eye contact the whole time...

I rarely use a pick up line, but when I do, I usually preface it with a smile and a &quot;As cheesy as it sounds....&quot; to make her smile at least. I'll usually just make a comment about the atmosphere of where I'm at and lead into that. Introductions follow later.

Err... well, there was this time I tripped over something and spilled my drink. Oh. And make sure you haven't eaten oreos in the recent past before flirting with the girl! I once spent twenty minutes talking with this girl (who had just opened up her own massage shop/parlor). After she left, my friend made some comment congradulating my mad &quot;macking skillz&quot; with bits of oreo left in my teeth.

i politely tell him no and that i have a bf. or that i don't give out my number to strangers. i don't really feel guilty because hello! there's some weirdos out there nowadays, what do u expect? i say it nicely tho i also hate it when guys i'm not interested in keep calling me even tho it's obvious i don't want to date him so it's easier to avoid that by not giving out your number at all.

made me drawings, a =w= star (u have to see it! it's awesome), rescued my jacket, learned how to sew and made me a stuffed snorlax (amazing), build my computer , the list goes on....all of this is from my current bf. now he never does anything!!! bleh hehe.
