Databases limiting consumer's ability to return items to retail stores now

the broken part is that it doesn't know how much you've bought. if you've bought a lot, you should be able to return a lot. if you haven't bought anything, you shouldn't be able to return a lot

You'd think that what she would learn from this is: "I will only buy things I really like and wish to keep." But no, blame the company for building a false profile on her...

Anyways, overall it still bites as policy. Was some disclaimer that "returns may not be accepted" stated to her at the time of purchase? What is the legality with returns - if nothing is mentioned, is some return period implied by law? More information requested.

we're lucky we have return policies around here. you buy something in China... they got your money, you can then fvck off as far as they are concerned.

BTW, speaking of returns.. I hate them too... my wife shops for hours only to return things and I say to her... now how much time did you waste picking that out ??? I wouldn't care except I take her shopping so it's my time too.
