"Data Warehouse" is such an overused buzzword

So many people mistake a simply large database for one. I'm looking for a clear, concise definition, and actual product players in the space

to provide instant access to back-up data at high speed in case of a disaster on a customer site.


Most Data Warehousing companies also provide Data Services (CRM, IT, etc).
