Ok, my old build crashed a while ago....time for a new rig anyways

It was an AMD 2400 - Lots of my pics were on a secondary 3.5 ATA drive in the AMD computer. That rig was running XP on the primary HDD.

If I build a new system with Vista, would I be able to drop the old drive in an external enclosure and get my pics off the old drive?

Please advise
 
You can drop it in an enclosure or in the rig. So long as you disable the boot sector of the drive. Either way will allow you to drag and drop your old fies into place.
